This charming spot is located in a former bank building near Shepard Park. You can see the heavy door (now open) into the vault! The space is small, but homey. The staff is friendly, and the food we had was tasty. The menu is limited, but what we found was exactly what we hoped for--a non-fancy, well-priced selection of morning foods and good coffee. I had the power smoothie--one of the best smoothies I've ever had--that kept me going all day! My husband loved the mozzarella, tomato, and pesto panini so much, he had it twice! We wish this small business a successful summer! Thanks!
Yep, it really is a little old bank turned cozy eatery. I'm delivering to a hotel here in Lake George and got stuck overnight. Not a big menu but it has all the best stuff!!! If you leave here hungry it's your fault. Jane the owner and head (and only) cook makes all the food with a smile and you'll find yourself sitting a few minutes longer just to enjoy the warm atmosphere. Face it, you can get eggs at WaWa but you can only get eggs with a smile and good conversation at a place like the Bank Cafe. Next time I'm in Lake George I will be stopping in.
